Noteable Appeals Cases

Notable Case: In September of 1994, I won a case in the Court of Appeals of Washington (In re "S.V.B., 75 Wash. App. 762, 880 P.2d 80, Div. 2 1994), in which a father who had not been given sufficient services to cure parental deficiencies, had his rights terminated. I was successful in having this decision reversed on appeal.

Noteable criminal appeal, State v. Rivera, (76 Wash.App 519, 888 P.2d 740 (DIV. 2 1995)). A visitor was searched during a search warrant. This case contributed to changing the law, which had formerly allowed visitors present during a warrant to be searched.
